Hi, my name is Bruce Berg and I teach Business 100, the title of the course is Using Math to Solve Business Problems. This satisfies the final mathematics and critical thinking requirement for an associate in science degree in the accounting, marketing, information technology, culinary, and hospitality and tourism. Business 100 does not fulfill the math requirement for an associate in arts degree. We cover topics in finance, statistics, logic, and probability, and utilize an approach focusing on business applications rather than theory. If your goal is an associate in science degree in one of the fields I mentioned, this course provides an excellent preparation for your career. I look forward to having you join me in Business 100!
