Aloha! I’m Professor Susan Jaworowski, paralegal program director, and I’d like to tell you a little bit about our Employment Related Law course, LAW 166. The course looks at employment contracts and wrongful termination, workplace privacy, fair employment laws, sexual discrimination and harassment, wage and hour laws, and collective bargaining laws. LAW 166 provides an overview of the law of individual employment rights and labor relations and will help you identify the most common legal issues arising out of the employee/employer relationship and learn about the organization, agency or tribunal responsible for enforcing the applicable laws.
