Hi, I’m Ken Kiyohara and I teach Marketing 293, Marketing Internship. This is a course required for students pursuing the AS degree in Marketing. Through this course, students will be able to integrate the accumulated knowledge and skills from previous courses into practical working knowledge through work off campus worksites. Students are required to complete 120 hours of internship work at host companies, attend weekly classes, and submit assigned homework and projects related to the internship. Students will look for their own internship opportunities, which need to be approved by the instructor. In short, this course provides practical work experience with professionals who will help identify the personal qualities and work skills required of employees in your chosen field. I look forward to seeing you in Marketing 293!
